New Shooter Canada

Episode 1 – Okay I have my PAL now what? Choosing a Club to Join

In the first segment I talked about Gun Clubs some of the different activities you can find, such as Trap, Skeet, Rifle, Pistol, Sporting Clays etc. When choosing what club you want to be long to it is important to determine what you want out of the sport.

Here is a good resource for finding Clubs in your area:

Firearms Canada

Shotgun Shooting.

On the left is a Skeet configuration and in the center is a Trap configuration and below is an example of Sporting Clays

Rifle Silhouette.

Pistols:

IDPA Stage

IPSC Stage

SASS Stage

Until next time, keep your barrel down range and smoking.

  1. George….shooting is a sport, not a hobby. Collecting stamps is a hobby. There are around 20 shooting sports in the Olympics, not any hobbies.

    Keep up the good work.

    • since this showed up after your first post. I take it this is the second post? When someone new posts on the site I have to approve them to protect against spammers so your first post was waiting “approval”. Its just the word that wordpress uses. Your 2 posts since came right up cause you are lol “approved” lol again its wordpress phrasing.

Basically you are not a spammer and you are free to post on my site.
