1. (from the Canadian Firearms Institute) We are looking for individuals from across the country who wish to become Senior Holster Certification and Senior Range Officer Instructors.  (Must become a CFI member)  Please send a brief history of your shooting experience to pyper@canadianfirearmsinstitute.ca for consideration.Some prior adult teaching experience is preferred but not a requirement.  A positive forward thinking and community oriented attitude is mandatory. (Note-NSC will be have an article appearing in the  August CFI newsletter, about Canadian Podcasters and the annual Charity Shoot.We will provide the link when they post a copy on their webpage)

 

2. Black Badge course at the Restigouche Gun Club on August 22-23. Trevor Furlotte is running this and if you are interested, contact the guys at Slamfire at slamfireradio@gmail.com

 

3. Eagle Lake Gun Club is proud to host One Shot Tactical’s Ontario IDPA Provincial Championship August 15th. Course of fire – 8 stages Round Count – approx. 130.Registration and Squadding will be done via Practiscore. The match is limited to 75 shooters plus staff. Few spots available with staff Friday, main match on Saturday.Match Fees: Before March 31 2015 = $50.00. After = $75.00Match sign-in opens at 7:30 am Saturday. Shooter’s meeting at 8:30 a.m., match begins at 9:00 a.m.. Shooters may pick up registration materials between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Friday if desired.

   Trophies for all divisions and classifications will be awarded after Saturday’s match. There will be a drawing for guns and prizes after the completion of awards.
